Thank you for your interest in the role of Independent Chair of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Education Partnership Board. This is an exciting and important moment for education across BCP.

We are creating a new Education Partnership Board to bring together schools, trusts, colleges, local authority leaders and wider partners around one shared ambition: building a stronger, more connected education system for every child and young person across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This role sits at the heart of that ambition.

As Independent Chair, you will help unite leaders across a diverse and complex system, building trust, strengthening collaboration and helping shape a shared vision for the future. You will bring both support and challenge, ensuring the Board remains focused on improving outcomes and life chances for all children and young people.

This is a significant and unique opportunity to help shape place-based system leadership at a pivotal time - and to make a lasting difference across an entire community.

We are looking for someone with credibility, compassion, and the ability to bring people together around a common purpose. Someone who understands that strong systems are built through relationships, trust and shared accountability.
